Storms Cause Flight Frustrations At DFW Airport
GRAPEVINE (CBSDFW.COM) - Travelers at DFW International Airport spent hours stuck on the tarmac or sleeping in the terminal Wednesday night and into Thursday morning due to powerful storms that passed through the Metroplex. American Airlines has reported 57 flights diverted, 140 cancellations on Wednesday and another 35 cancellations set for Thursday.

Passengers at the airport have been eager to share their frustrations. “Really not impressed by the way that Dallas airport, which we thought was a very sophisticated and modern airport, operates,” a woman told CBS 11 News on Thursday morning. “It’s quite horrific having to spend hours and hours on the tarmac.”
