DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM)- Meryl Streep is doing her best British accent again as she takes on the roll of Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in “Iron Lady.” Everyone says she’ll be nominated for Best Actress again when the Oscars roll around. If she doesn’t win it’s probably because the Academy is tired of watching her pretend to be surprised .
Angelina Jolie has a new movie out as well, called “In the Land of Blood and Honey.” She’s behind this camera this time and telling the story of love during the Bosnian war. Yes, Angelina is directing now…in case that whole acting thing doesn’t work out.
If you’d like to see either one of these movies or watch the trailers, check local showtimes here (Iron Lady – In the Land of Blood and Honey) but first hear what KRLD Film Critic Julie Fisk has to say about “Iron Lady” and “In the Land of Blood and Honey.”
